OUR APPROACH
Transformation cannot be prescribed.
The conditions for it can be created.
At ed3 International, we design learning experiences that bring together knowledge, experience, reflection, and meaningful encounters—creating the conditions for new perspectives, deeper understanding, and human growth.
From Experience to Understanding
Experience alone is not enough.
Meaningful learning happens when participants have opportunities to encounter new ideas and perspectives, engage with real-world contexts, reflect on what they experience, and connect new understanding with what they already know.
ed3 experiences are intentionally designed to encourage this movement from experience to reflection, interpretation, and deeper understanding.
The ed3 Transformative Learning Model
The ed3 Transformative Learning Model focuses not on prescribing transformation, but on creating the conditions under which transformation may become possible. Experiences are intentionally designed to bring learners into meaningful encounters with people, ideas, places, and perspectives—and to create opportunities for analysis, reflection, meaning-making, and integration.
These dimensions are interconnected rather than strictly sequential, allowing learners to move between awareness, experience, interpretation, and synthesis as understanding develops.
Awareness
Notice. Question. Become curious.
Experience
Encounter. Explore. Engage.
Interpretation
Analyse. Reflect. Make meaning.
Synthesis
Connect. Integrate. Apply.
THE HUMAN SIDE OF LEARNING
Developing the Human Capabilities That Matter
Knowledge and technical expertise matter. But navigating an interconnected and rapidly changing world also requires distinctly human capabilities.
Across ed3 learning experiences and initiatives, different combinations of these capabilities are intentionally developed in response to the purpose, context, and people involved.
